Google Analytics · Website-analytics integration
See which marketing actually produces booked appointments.
Most clinics can tell you how much traffic their site gets and not which campaign filled Tuesday. Clinicmaster emits the online-booking funnel to Google Analytics and Tag Manager — booking started, service selected, time chosen, booking confirmed or failed — and keeps campaign parameters attached across the whole flow.
The Google Analytics integration
Google Analytics measures how people move through a web experience. Clinicmaster connects your own Google Analytics property, and optionally a Google Tag Manager container, to its online-booking flow: page views and the funnel’s named events are emitted as patients progress, and the campaign parameters they arrived with are carried through to the confirmation so bookings can be attributed to the marketing that produced them.
What the Google Analytics integration does.
Traffic numbers do not tell you where to spend. A funnel that ends in a confirmed appointment does.
The whole booking funnel, named
Seven events mark the real steps — booking started, service selected, date and time selected, new client created, existing client logged in, booking confirmed, booking failed — so you can see exactly where people drop out.
Campaign attribution that survives
UTM and campaign parameters from the arriving link are captured, stored and re-applied as the patient moves through the flow, so the source is still attached at the confirmation.
Failed bookings are visible too
A booking that fails emits its own event, which turns a silent loss into something you can count and fix.
Google Tag Manager supported
A Tag Manager container can be configured instead of, or alongside, the tracking key — so your marketing team manages tags without waiting on a release.
Your property, per clinic
The tracking key and container are configured on the clinic’s own online-booking setup, so data lands in your Google Analytics account and can differ by location.
Page views across the flow
Navigation within the booking experience emits page views as well as events, so funnel and behaviour reports both work rather than only custom events.
From ad click to attributed booking.
Your GA property is connected.
We license the module and set your Google Analytics tracking key, and a Tag Manager container if you use one, on your clinic’s online-booking setup.
The campaign source is held onto.
When a patient arrives from an ad, email or listing, the campaign parameters on that link are captured and persisted — and re-applied as they navigate, so they are not lost mid-flow.
Funnel events reach your reports.
As the patient progresses, Clinicmaster emits the funnel events and page views to your property. Confirmed bookings arrive still carrying their source.
What this integration does not do
This measures the Clinicmaster online-booking experience, not your separately-hosted clinic website — that needs its own tag. Data goes to the Google Analytics property you configure, and what you collect there is governed by your own privacy notice and consent practices: Clinicmaster emits booking-funnel events, and clinical information is never sent to analytics. Reporting on appointments and revenue inside the platform is Business intelligence.
The booking funnel, as Google Analytics sees it.
These are the named steps and signals available in your own property — enough to work out not just how many people booked, but which campaigns and which services they came for.
