Allomia · AI receptionist integration
Let an AI receptionist book real appointments, not messages.
Allomia is an AI voice receptionist that answers your clinic’s phone. What makes it useful is the depth of the connection: Allomia reads live availability out of Clinicmaster and books, confirms, reschedules or cancels the actual appointment during the call — so the schedule is already correct when the patient hangs up.
The Allomia integration
Allomia is an AI voice receptionist that answers patient calls in natural language. Clinicmaster exposes a dedicated partner API that Allomia calls into: it can look up real availability, create a booking for a new or existing patient, confirm, reschedule or cancel an appointment, retrieve clinic information such as hours and services, and record a voicemail as a task for your team. Every appointment it creates is tagged to the virtual-receptionist channel so you can see exactly what the AI booked.
What the Allomia integration does.
Allomia handles the conversation. Clinicmaster stays the single source of truth for what is actually available and what actually got booked.
Reads live availability
Allomia queries the same online-booking availability your patients see, filtered by service and practitioner — so it never offers a slot that has already gone.
Books new and returning patients
Separate paths handle a first-time caller, where a client record is created, and an existing patient booking a follow-up against their current case.
Confirms, reschedules and cancels
Callers can confirm an upcoming visit, move it, or cancel it outright. The change is made to the appointment itself, not left as a note for someone to action later.
Answers clinic questions
Allomia pulls clinic information from Clinicmaster to answer the routine calls — hours, locations, what a clinic offers — without them reaching a person.
Voicemail becomes a task
When a call genuinely needs a human, the voicemail is created as a Clinicmaster task rather than sitting in a separate mailbox nobody owns.
Attributed as its own channel
Bookings made by the AI are stamped with the virtual-receptionist booking channel, so reporting can separate what the AI handled from what staff did.
From ringing phone to booked appointment.
Allomia takes the call.
The AI receptionist answers in natural language and works out what the caller needs — a new appointment, a change to an existing one, or a question about the clinic.
It asks Clinicmaster what is actually free.
Allomia calls the partner API with your clinic’s API key and reads live availability for the right service and practitioner, so the options it offers are real.
The change is written to your schedule.
The booking, confirmation, reschedule or cancellation is applied to the appointment in Clinicmaster and tagged to the virtual-receptionist channel. Nothing needs re-entering.
What this integration does not do
Allomia is the AI voice layer — it is not your phone system, and it does not record or transcribe calls into the chart. Business calling with caller-ID matching to the patient record is the Nexco VOIP integration. Allomia is licensed per clinic and connected by our team; there is no self-serve activation.
The operations Clinicmaster exposes to Allomia.
The integration is a defined, authenticated contract rather than open access. These are the actions Allomia can take, each scoped to the clinic identified by its API key.
